Magento 2 Russian Language Pack enables you to customize the existing language and adjust to Russian Language, that is really perfect tool to localize your store in Russia. This package will allow you to convert all words and phrases from both the frontend and the backend into the Russian Language. The translation is contributed by Translation Project at Crowdin website.
Today, in Magento 2 Russian Language Pack topic, I will instruct you to download and install the package. After all, the automatic translation is implemented right after you activate Russian (Russia) option in Store > Configuration > Locale Options.

Install Russian pack:
composer require mageplaza/magento-2-russian-language-pack:dev-master php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy ru_RU php bin/magento cache:flush

Install the Russian language pack via command line.
Download the language file to your installation root directory. Now run the following command:
wget https://github.com/mageplaza/magento-2-russian-language-pack/raw/master/ru_RU.csv php bin/magento i18n:pack -m replace ru_RU.csv ru_RU php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy ru_RU php bin/magento cache:flush
As a result, a directory langpack will be created that contains proper structure of language files for your installation. Copy it over to your Magento installation and the translations should be visible.
Note: additional directory i18n contains strings for which the module could not be found in your installation. This file can be skipped.
Now time to activate the language pack for your Magento 2 store. From Magento 2 admin panel, navigate to
Stores > Configuration > General > Locale Options
