Step 1: Download Shopware
First off, ensure that the routing settings on your web server are accurate, as well as that the Shopware 6 system requirements are satisfied. Then you need to download and extract the Shopware 6 installer to the desired location on your computer.
Step 2: Run the Installer

If you add other languages, you must create a subdomain such as www.mystore.com/de for Germany. These require their own domain inside the sales channel, allowing consumers to choose the language from your store’s front end. The mask will close, revealing the updated settings.
Check all previous settings in General settings, as well as the Languages and Snippets settings in Domains. If all of the options are shown, click Save at the top of the page.
If any of the default translations do not fit your needs, you may modify them under Settings > Snippet.
Step 7: Update the tax rates

You need to add a new first level category (1) called Footer Navigation, save this and then add two sub-categories (2) Shop Service and Information, both of which are added in the shop’s default language. The language can be chosen from the drop-down menu (3).
Now that you’ve established your basic category structure, you can designate it as the shop’s entry point. First, you need to select your Sales Channel (1), and then you set the Entry point footer navigation (2).**
Select Footer navigation, the one you just generated, from the drop-down menu, and then click Save (3).
You are now ready to create the shop pages that will be shown in the front end under the proper area. Please go to Content > Shopping Experiences to start building a new store page.

Return to Catalogues > Categories. Create a subcategory under one of the previously defined subcategories (1).
