Step 1: Full fill the information in the General section

• Name: Enter the name of the rule

• Status: Choose Enable to apply the rule

• Customer Groups
  • Only customers who are in the selected group can see the rule
  • You can choose various groups at the same time
• Priority
  • Enter priority for applying the rule
  • The smaller the number entered, the higher priority level. With rules which have the same priority level, the level will be based on ID

  

Step 2: Set the rule to apply condition in the Condition section

• Choose condition to apply the rule
• You can set the conditions for the Cart or Product section such as Subtotal greater than 50, Total Items Quantity less than 5, etc.

3.1 Apply Type

• Apply Type = Manual: Customers can custom the types of rule

    • Display Area = Payment Method: Display the rule in the Payment Method section

    • Display Type = Checkbox: Display the selected style under checkbox

  • Is Required: Choose Yes to display forcing clients to select a type of service

• Apply Type = Automatic: The service type of rule will be applied automatically
  • Fee Type: Select service payment type

  

  • Fee Type = Percentage of cart total: The service fee will be calculatedas the percentage of total cart
  • Fee Type = Fixed amount for the whole cart: The service cost will be counted as a certain amount of money when customers make purchases
  • Fee Type = Fixed amount for each item: The service charge will be calculated as a certain amount of money on each product in the cart
  • Fee Amount
    • Enter the amount of money or the percentage (depend on the type of payment that you choose)
    • You are not allowed to leave this field blank

3.2 Fee Tax

• Choose Tax Rule to apply counting tax for the service fee
• Fee Tax = No: Not apply counting tax for the service fee

3.3 Cart Sort Order

• Enter the priority for displaying rule in frontend and admin order
• The smaller the number entered, the higher display priority level. With rules which have the same display priority level, the display priority level will be based on ID

3.4 Refundable

• Choose Yes to apply service cost for refund order
• The service fee will be applied in the first refund time

3.5 Stop further processing

• Choose Yes to limit the number of rules which are applied for service types (based on priority level and ID)
• For example, there are 4 rules which are created namely Rule 1, Rule 2, Rule 3, Rule 4 and the priority are 0, 5, 3, 3 respectively.
• All the rules are set as Stop further processing = No, all rules will be applied
• Edit Rule 3 and select Stop further processing = Yes. After Apply Rule, the rules which are applied are Rule 1 (because of the higher priority level) and Rule 3. Rule 2 (because its priority level is lower) and Rule 4 (because it was created later) are not applied

Step 4: Enter labels for the types of service with stores and in the backend

4.1 With Apply Type = Manual: Display the Manage Option

• Type: Choose the service fee payment type
  • Type = Percentage of cart total: The service fee will be calculated as the percentage of the total cart
  • Type = Fixed amount for the whole cart: The service fee will be calculated as a certain amount of money when customers make purchases
  • Type = Fixed amount for each item: The service fee will be calculated as a certain amount of money on each product in the cart

• Amount: Enter the money or the percentage (depend on the fee payment that you choose) to apply for the service fee

• Admin
  • Enter the display name in admin order/ invoice/ shipment/ credit memo for the chosen type of service
  • You are not allowed to leave this field blank

• The store’s services: Enter the display name for the service type which you have added outside frontend of stores

• Is Default: Select a default type of service whenever customers choose the service which has just been added

• New Option: Click the New Option button to set up more services

4.2 With Apply Type = Automatic: Display the Manage Label

• Admin
  • Enter the display name in admin order/ invoice/ shipment/ credit memo for the chosen type of service
  • You are not allowed to leave this field blank
• The store’s services: Enter the display name for the service type which you have added outside frontend of stores
