You can set the End Date as Never (no end date), After X Cycles (ends automatically after X time periods), Custom Date (ends automatically after the chosen date)

In the backend, please click Add New Subscription, select Yes in the Free Product Trials field, then enter the number of the trial period in days. For instance, if the trial period lasts 1 week, enter number 7 in the field.

It’s up to your store’s configuration in the backend. If you allow them to cancel the subscriptions on their own, they can go to the My Subscription page, then click Cancel. If not, only admins have the right to cancel the subscriptions.

Please go to the Reminder Email Template section, select Yes to enable the feature, select Next Billing Email Reminder Template, and type 3 in the Send Reminder About Next Invoice (Days).

You have to configure a key for Paypal Subscription first. Please read this guide for more details. Then from the Admin panel, go to Sales > Subscription and Recurring payments > Configuration > Paypal Express Checkout to finish settings.
