Backend configuration
To start configuring this function, shop admins have to access from Admin Panel > Mageplaza > Reward Point > Configuration. On the display page, store owners need to make changes to general configuration.
First, admins have to select Yes in the Enable field to turn on Reward Points program for their stores. After that, navigate Point Label to enter a name that will be used to take the place of point. Below that field is Plural Point Label which requires users to provide plural form of the name above. For example, if shop owners want to use heart as the unit to count in reward points program, they have to enter Heart and Hearts in Point Label and Plural Point Label respectively. If no point label is entered, the default setting “Point” and “Points” will be used.
The next step is taking a look at Show Point Icon and selecting Yes in the option box to allow icon to be presented on the frontend. Finally, users have to click on Choose File button at Reward Points Icon to upload an image file used as a icon of point label. The accepted files will be in form of .jpg, .png, .gif. If no file is chosen, the default image from system will be applied for stores.
Frontend display
Depending on the configuration in the backend of shop admins, the icon displayed on the frontend is exactly what is chosen. If point indicators can be placed on category page, product page, mini cart, and shopping cart, point icons are only shown on category page and product page. In these two page, the selected icon will be presented next to point indicators, and normally before point indicators. The placement of point icons in these places remarkably helps online business owners in providing interesting shopping time for consumers.
